A Beautiful Mind actress Jennifer Connelly has been nabbed as the global brand ambassador of Japanese beauty brand Shisiedo.  This is the first time in the company’s 140 year history it has done so.  Connelly’s first role, according to Women’s Wear Daily, will be to serve as the face of Shiseido’s Future Solution LX premium skin care line, as well as be the spokesperson in 88 countries and regions.

The Academy Award winning beauty told WWD exclusively that, “I’ve had a long relationship with Shiseido — I worked with them in the Eighties on an ad campaign, and have been using their products ever since. It’s nice to reconnect with them after so many years.”

Though the first campaign was shot this week, images will start popping up in magazines, billboards and online in the fall.
