Avril Lavigne Designs Sally Hansen Salon Effects Polish Strips

Singer and fashion designer Avril Lavigne is jumping into the nail art game with a deal she just inked with beauty brand Sally Hansen.  Lavigne has designed 12 rocker chic nail polish strips for Sally Hansen.  If you aren’t familiar with nail strips, they are the latest trend in the nail polish industry.  Users get a box of strips, which are designed from real nail polish, you simply peel off the backing and apply to your finger nails.  Lavigne’s collection hits beauty stores and drugstores globally in April but we’ve got a first look at some of the designs.

Each $9.99 kit includes 16 nail-polish strips, a cuticle stick, a mini-file and buffer and instructions for at-home application.  With my multiple failed attempts to perfect the nail strips application using other brands, I am curious to try the Avril/Sally Hansen collection.  I’m digging the black glitter, black studs and multicolored animal print nail strips.
