American Express to Donate $250,000 to CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund

For those in the know, fashion week can be a lavish experience if you are an American Express card holder.  The credit card company has partnered with Mercedes Benz Fashion Week to give its card holders the opportunity to attend some of the most must attend fashion shows and be entertained in the American Express Skybox.

Tickets to the Skybox don’t come cheap but there is a benefit to buying one.  Amex donates proceeds from sales of its Skybox tickets to the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund and has pledged to do so again this year.   The credit card company said it will donate $250,000.

Wondering what American Express card holders will get?

  • Designer meet-and-greet packages to card members for MADE Fashion Week at Milk Studios, featuring designers such as Jeremy Scott, Simon Spurr, John Bartlett and Zero + Maria Cornejo.
  • A card member-only consumer runway show for Tommy Hilfiger’s spring 2012 collection on Feb. 16 featuring the fictional Hilfiger family. The show will be of the current spring collection.
